Fine distinctions for discerning photographers
Get greater sharpness and the sensor’s maximum resolution when the standard optical low-pass filter built into the RX1 is removed in the RX1R.
The RX1R gives you all the same advanced features and technology offered by the RX1, but without the anti-aliasing filter. This lets you utilise the extreme resolution and sharpness the camera is designed to deliver.
With its built-in optical low-pass (anti-aliasing) filter, the RX1 delivers consistently sharp images by minimising moiré and colour artefacts automatically.
